Tutorial: Getting Started with STAT

Welcome to the School Testing & Assessment Tracker (STAT)! Let's walk through how to quickly assign materials, schedule tests, and track student progress.

1. Managing Classes & Subjects

Before assigning materials, ensure your classes and subjects are set up. From the School Manager dashboard, you can define classes (e.g., Grade 10) and assign specific subjects and teachers to them.

2. Uploading Study Materials

Teachers can share resources with their students through the Study Materials portal.

  • File Types: You can upload PDFs, documents, external web links, and videos.
  • Categorization: All uploads must be linked to a specific Class, Subject, and Topic to keep things organized.

3. Creating & Scheduling Exams

Use the Exam Builder to construct quizzes and assessments:

Tip: You can set a timer for the entire exam or configure it so students must spend a minimum amount of time on each question.

Once built, assign the exam to a specific class. It will automatically appear in the students' "Assigned Tests" tab.

4. Tracking Analytics & Report Cards

After students submit their exams, STAT automatically computes their scores for objective questions. You can view detailed graphical analytics on a class-wide or individual student basis from the Report Card tab.
